Pulpit Committee Recomendation

Our pastor candidate will be at our church on September 18 and 19. A called Business Meeting will be held Saturday evening on September 18 following a reception and a covered dish supper at 6:00 pm. We encourage everyone in the church to make plans to come and meet the candidate and his wife. We will discuss the details of the call and allow any questions to be presented at that time.

On Sunday, September 19th the candidate will be here for the morning worship service and will present the morning message. At the conclusion of this worship service we will vote to extend a call to him.

New church year

Sunday School Teachers

Attention all Sunday School teachers!  There will be a teachers' meeting on Sunday, September 12 at 5:00 PM.  Plan to attend!  Remember your homework is to read the first chapter of Sunday School That Really Works.
Senior Adults

The senior adult ministry is in full swing as we work to help minister to souls and build relationships throughout our church and community.    In conjunction with the prayer group we prepare a covered dish lunch on the first Thursday of each month at noon in the fellowship hall.  Make plans to join us for our next outing!

Join us every Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall for our adult prayer group.  Our group maintains a prayer list and in addition to prayer for those in need we send out cards offering encouragement and comfort.  We also regularly deliver fruit baskets to the sick and shut-ins as a way of ministering to them.

The first Thursday of every month we hold our covered dish luncheon at 12:00 noon.  The third Thursday of each month we visit the area nursing homes and deliver bananas to the patients.
