Morningside Baptist Church

Dear Folks,

When Jesus walked on Earth with his disciples He taught them many things. One day as Jesus was praying one of His disciples asked Him to teach them one specific thing. “Lord, teach us to pray, ” was the request of this disciple for himself and the others. Jesus’ response to the request was to share with the disciples what is now known as the Lord’s Prayer. You can read the account in Luke11:1-4. I will be using this passage as the text for the message this morning. As we are coming up on the month of March and looking for a mighty work of God in our church, I truly believe that March can really be a Month of Revival. I believe with all of my heart that God wants to send revival to Morningside Baptist Church and to the world. I believe that God wants to use Morningside Baptist Church to reach this community, this city, and this county for Jesus Christ.

There is no doubt in my heart that Jesus wants to send a Revival to Morningside Baptist. He wants to see us reaching out to this city and county and telling them what Jesus Christ means to us. The way that we do this is by inviting those we know who are not attending church to join us in Sunday School and Worship during the month of March. March can be a Month of Revival if we, the Body of Christ at Morningside, will commit ourselves to be used by our Lord and invite our friends, our co-workers, our neighbors, and our relatives to join us as we Worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

The morning message is on prayer which is the power of revival. Next Sunday the message will be on the criteria of revival. And as I have already shared with you and believing that God is going to bless your invitations by sending lost people to our church, I will be sharing salvation messages through the month of March.
