Dear Folks,

Today we will kick off our “Plant A Seed” strategy to reach Bainbridge and Decatur County for our Lord Jesus Christ. In your bulletin you will find a “Plant A Seed” flyer. There is a place for you to write in the name and address of five people or families you know who are not actively attending church on this flyer. These people will become prospects for our church to seek to reach and get them involved in what God is doing at Morningside. On Sunday, January 24th we will ask you to bring these names to the front of the church and place them on the Communion Table. We will have a time of prayer for these families and for our church as we seek to reach them for our Lord. How successful we will be in this undertaking will depend not on the prospects we receive, but on how effectively we do our Lord’s work. There are three things that are essential if we are to reach our city and county through “Plant A Seed”. First we must bathe everything we do in prayer. Ask God to give you the name of five families or person He would have you to give. Then begin to pray for them and for yourself as to how you can be a witness and calling these families and letting them know we love them and are interested in their spiritual lives. We can reach our city and county, but we must pray and work and allow God to give the increase.
