Dear Folks,

What a blessing we received from our Adult Choir this passed Sunday evening. Thank you choir for the commitment and hard work you did to make it possible. Thank you Bro. Randall for the many hours of preparation on your part also. I know many churches that are much larger than we who would die for the music program we have here at Morningside. It begins with a Minister of Music who is committed to the call God has given him and a large group of people who are willing to allow God to use them and their voices for His glory.

Another blessing we have at Morningside is the participation of our young people in the ministry of our church. I am very proud of these young people and the work they are doing. I want to say a thank you to those adults who lead in the different ministry involving our Youth.

I believe that every church must be involved in growth. The Bible speaks of two aspects of growth. First must come spiritual growth and then numerical growth. Both will take work on our part. One way for our church to be successful in both of the areas is through the Sunday School. Bro. Jamie is committed to the growth of our Sunday School and is beginning a new strategy to help it grow. He is asking you to become a partner with him in this effort. He has mentioned that January is going to be PLANT A SEED MONTH. He will give us more information about this as the time approaches. He will let you know how you can be a part of this.
