Dear Folks,

Thank you for making it possible for me to attend the Georgia Baptist Convention this past week.  It was a very good trip and a really good convention.  Also it is a very full three days.  I plan to give you a full report of the proceedings next Sunday evening.  I believe it is very important that you know exactly how our convention is ministering and how it is helping over 3,400 Georgia Baptist Churches reach their communities for Jesus Christ.  I hope you will make an effort to attend this evening service.  We will also look how we at Morningside fit into what God is doing in and through our convention.

I am also looking forward to a report from our youth on their mission trip to Florida.  They were going to be packing shoe boxes for Samaritan Purse in their annual drive to collect needs items for millions of children all over the world.  We will only know on the other side of Glory the impact the shoe boxes are having on the lives to those to whom they are sent.

May God bless America, Morningside Baptist Church, your family, and may we allow His love to penetrate our heart that the world can see Christ in us.
